How to get medical visa invitation letter from India

The treating Indian Hospital requires the below information and documents from you to provide you with a Visa Invitation Letter

Information required by the Hospital

1. Patient Details – Name & Passport Number
2. Attender Details – Name & Passport Number

Note: Maximum of 2 Attenders allowed per patient.

3. Nearest Indian High Commission Mission in Bangladesh based on where you currently live.

Note: The Visa Invitation Letter will be addressed to your nearest High Commission of India.

4. Tentative Arrival Date in Chennai

Note: The Visa Invitation Letter will be mention your tentative arrival date in Chennai

5. Preference (if any) of the treating doctor from the Indian Hospital.

Note: if there is a preference of doctor, please notify so your preferred doctor can be requested to review your medical reports. Else, the hospital will assign an appropriate senior consultant to review your medical reports and provide you with a visa invitation letter

Documents required by the Hospital

1. Scanned copy of the Passports of the Patient/Attenders.

Note: The passports should have a minimum of six months as on the date of submission of application for the Indian Medical Visa.

2. Medical Reports

Note: need to be current, and not more than 6 months old.
